The vineyard is on the young side, so the tasting room isn't as state-of-the-art as those of some other regional vineyards, but go for substance over style. I have tasted wines around Maryland and Virginia, and Catoctin Breeze produces some of the best reds in the area. Whites are relatively easy here; reds take skill. Their desert Mead is also worth trying. Last point: the service has always been excellent--do yourself a favor and visit!
Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Didn't love the Mead but it was definitely unique. Beautiful setting.
Does not offer cheese plates to have with wine! Staff friendly! Clean atmosphere! Won't visit again, would rather go to winery that offers food or at least cheese, grapes platters to enjoy with a good bottle of wine!

Great wine, and for a very young winery even more impressive. Extremely friendly staff. We were given a tour by the owner, who took the time to explain their wines and process.
